Savings Bank Account vs Liquid funds | Liquid Funds क्या है | Liquid Funds explained in Hindi

07:45
Wondering whether to invest in a liquid fund instead of keeping away your excess cash in a tried-and-true savings account? Saving accounts give you low returns but it’s likely you are reluctant to invest this money in higher-yield options in case you may need it in the near future. FDs may offer higher returns, but very low flexibility. But should the need for flexibility really force you to compromise on returns to an extent that you are forced to be content with a 4% interest rate when you could get 7-8%. Liquid funds might just be the solution that you are looking for: an option that gives you liquidity (as the name suggests) but also good returns. Most liquid funds do not have an exit load, so you can have your money with 1 working days from the point you decide to cash the funds. Please watch the video for detailed comparison from returns, taxation, risk and liquidity perspective. Find us on Social Media and stay connected: Facebook Page - https://www.facebook.com/InvestYadnya Facebook Group - https://goo.gl/y57Qcr Twitter - https://www.twitter.com/InvestYadnya

What is SWP (Systematic Withdrawal Plan) - म्यूचल फंड मे आप निश्चित अवधि मे आटोमेटिक तरीके से निवेश अथवा निकासी (SWP) कर सकते है | SWP is the reverse of SIP. Where in SIP you look at accumulating a corpus by making regular investments into a Mutual fund, in SWP you regularly withdraw a fixed amount of money from a fund. Your fund’s value and number of units will reduce to the extent of each withdrawal. For an SWP, the tax treatment of each withdrawal will be the same as in the case of full withdrawal of equity and debt funds. For more such details such who should opt for SWP and how it compares with MIP or Annuity, please watch the video. Mutual Funds: Growth vs Dividend option | Investment Tips by Yadnya

Here is the updated video with the impact of the LTCG Tax in 2018: https://youtu.be/csS_Y-rGwAo “Should I go for growth option or take out the dividends in my fund?” – is a question frequently asked, when venturing into mutual fund investments. The choice between these 2 options should primarily be driven by your cash flow requirements. If you do not have any periodic liquidity needs, you may choose the growth option. The returns in the growth option will be reflected in the movement of the scheme’s NAV. On the contrary, if you need regular cash flows from your investments, then choose the dividend option. However, please note that dividend payment is not assured and there may not be any dividends if the fund fails to generate any surpluses. As far as the tax treatment is concerned, dividends are tax free in the hands of the investor but the Mutual Fund Company deducts a dividend distribution tax (DDT) on behalf of the investor and passes it onto the government. SIP (Systematic Investment Plan) vs Lump Sum Investment | Investment Tips by Yadnya

03:54
SIP (Systematic Investment Plan) vs Lump Sum Investment This comparison is not fair and entirely depends on our situation and our goals. At the outset, there is a difference between the cash flows – in case of lump sum investing, we have money on hand that can be invested. Whereas in case of SIP, we may not have lump sum on hand and may have regular surplus expected in future. If we do not have lump sum money available to invest, there is no question of one investing at one go. Similarly, if there is a person whose future income is uncertain, SIP is out of question. Another reason why the comparison is unfair is that because investments are done at different points of time. Net Asset Value, or NAV, is the sum total of the market value of all the shares held in the portfolio including cash, less the liabilities, divided by the total number of units outstanding. What is STP? Understanding Systematic Transfer Plan | Investment Tips by Yadnya

04:02
STP refers to Systematic Transfer Plan where in an investor invests a lump sum amount in one scheme and regularly transfers (i.e. switches) a pre-defined amount into another scheme (of same fund house). Every month on a specified date an amount you choose is transferred from one mutual fund scheme (mostly debt) to another of your choice (mostly Equity). In case of a volatile market, STP helps the investors to periodically transfer funds from Debt Schemes to Equity Schemes and help them save the effort and time by compressing multiple instructions required for redemption from one scheme to invest in the other into a single instruction. Renting vs Buying a Home | Should I rent or buy a house? By Yadnya

09:23
Should you buy or rent a house is one of the rising concerns of date. Till the late 1980s, it was the standard middle class dream to be able to somehow garner enough money to buy one's home. You saved for many years, sold some family jewels and borrowed from friends and family. Overtime, you somehow paid back friends and family. The script changed in the 1980s with the arrival of home loan companies. Now, instead of borrowing from friends and family, you could take a home loan. The only difference is you have to begin repayment immediately and pay back on a regular basis till eternity (or so it feels). Given the easy availability of home loans, the number of people who can buy their own home has multiplied exponentially and so does the property prices. Debt Funds vs FD in Hindi | Fixed Deposit और Debt Funds में क्या अंतर है | Explained in Hindi

06:11
When it comes to saving money, people often opt for fixed deposits, considering them to be relatively risk free. The security of having the money in the bank is apparently a great factor. But we need to introspect and understand if our decision is right! Although Debt Mutual Fund are affected by market volatility, they are managed by professional fund managers, who do their best not only to protect investments but also to grow it. Find us on Social Media and stay connected: Facebook Page - https://www.facebook.com/InvestYadnya Facebook Group - https://goo.gl/y57Qcr Twitter - https://www.twitter.com/InvestYadnya

SIP vs Lumpsum in Hindi | SIP Explained in Hindi

04:33
This comparison is not fair and entirely depends on our situation and our goals. For better analysis, watch the video. Find us on Social Media and stay connected: Facebook Page - https://www.facebook.com/InvestYadnya Facebook Group - https://goo.gl/y57Qcr Twitter - https://www.twitter.com/InvestYadnya

If you are looking for a tailor-made government sponsored scheme to invest for your retirement, you can consider investing in NPS. But you should opt for it only if you are prepared to hold on to your investments till your retirement at 60 years. If you can take care of your long-term investments on your own, you can go ahead with your investments in Equity Linked Savings Schemes (ELSSs) or diversified equity funds. Sharpe Ratio kya hai in Hindi | Equity Risk Ratios Explained in Hindi

04:30
Sharpe ratio (SR) is important measure that evaluates the return that a fund has generated relative to the risk taken. Risk here is measured by SD. It is used for funds that have low correlation with benchmark index. This ratio helps an investor to know whether it is a safe bet to invest in this fund by taking the quantum of risk. The higher the Sharpe ratio (SR), the better a fund’s return relative to the amount of risk taken. In other words, a mutual fund with a higher SR is better because it implies that it has generated higher returns for every unit of risk that was taken. On the contrary, a negative Sharpe ratio indicates that a risk-free asset would perform better than the fund being analyzed. NPS, India's answer to the US' retirement scheme- 401(K)-is a government-approved pension scheme for Indian citizens in the 18-60 age group. While central and state government employees have to subscribe mandatorily, it's optional for others. The scheme offers two kinds of accounts-a compulsory Tier-I account and a voluntary Tier-II account. One can open a Tier-II account only if one has an active Tier-I account. Two things that make NPS a genuine pension scheme are restrictions on withdrawal from Tier-I account and the rule that a part of the Tier-I corpus at the end of the tenure has to be used to buy annuity, which gives regular payments in lieu of a lump sum.
