Olympus Air A01 lens system
Olympus is bringing its Air 01 Micro Four Thirds interchangeable lens camera to the U.S. and Canada in July. Similar to Sony’s QX1, the Air is a lens adapter designed to work with iOS and Android devices, with all the camera guts inside a compact cylinder, minus a display and traditional camera controls. The lens mount is compatible with 4/3 lenses from Olympus, Panasonic, and other manufacturers. The North American version will have its own app and support for Amazon Cloud Drive. Price is around $300 for the body only, or $500 with a 14-42mm lens. 90s Digital Camera - Retro Camera Review - Ep. 21
I take a look at a 17 Year Agfa CL50. And It ain't pretty. The Agfa CL50 represents what cameras used to be like in the 90s. Digital was totally different back then, unlike film cameras which had pretty much started peaking around the year 2000. CES 2015 | Sony Lens Style Cameras Lineup | QX1, QX10, QX30, QX100 | Mirrorless | SmartReview.com
SmartReview.com attended the Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2015) to see Sony's latest Lens type mirrorless cameras. A lens style camera can stand alone, or be mounted to your smartphone. When mounted to your smartphone, you can see and control the camera as if you have a real DSLR. Pictures are send wirelessly to the cell phone, as well as being stored on the lens camera itself. The QX1 sets itself apart from the others in that it can mount many different lenses, just like a DSLR. The other models, QX10, QX30, and QX100 have a fixed built-in lens. Cinema Lens Or Photography Lens?
Don't Forget To Subscribe: http://bit.ly/1LxRhNO Cinema Lens Or Photography Lens? Just because it's cinema glass, doesn't mean you should use it. Sometimes we forget the reason why we need a piece of equipment, and how we are going to use it. For me, I prefer photography glass, because I'm usually a one man crew, or a crew of no more than 5. Focus pulling is a full time job, and for me, that just isn't an option. So, for me I choose photography lens over the big and beautiful cinema glass. Now, with that said, If I do have a bigger crew, and/or a larger scale project, actors, marks, scrips and so forth, I would for sure go with the cinema lens. The markings on cinema lens make them 100% easier to hit your mark. The extra aperture blades make the bokeh more round and creamy, and there's just something about a big piece of cinema glass in your hands that makes a cinematographer cry. So, before you rush out and purchase that cinema prime, ask yourself "Do I really need this?" "Will this add value to my story?" "What type of shooting will I be doing?" I have to thank the guys over at TV Specialist Inc. for all their help and equipment. Lomography Petzval 85mm f/2.2 lens review with samples (Full-frame and APS-C)
Here's a lens I really wanted to test out for a long time, and it was indeed great fun to test out a sample for a couple of weeks. The original Petzval optical design was never a sharp one - but can this physically beautiful lens from Lomography give pictures that are unique enough to make up for that? Take a look and decide for yourself. 18 Awesome Low-Budget Camera Lenses! (for Canon, full-frame, and APS-C)
This video covers the lenses I most often recommend to people who, like me, are not quite swimming in money, or who are simply aware of the concept of value for money. I've tried to pack in as much infoz as possible into the video. The first 9 are lenses designed for full-frame cameras (but will work on APS-C, too) and the second 9 are lenses designed for APS-C cameras (which MAY work, to some extent, on full-frame cameras). I'm judging them based on their practicality and image quality most of the time, but a couple have made it on to my list solely on the basis that they're fun. What lenses do you like which I've missed out? Let me know in the comments! Some other great, low-budget lenses I was thinking of including: Canon 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM Canon 85mm f/1.8 USM Canon 70-200 f/4 USM 'L' Canon 100mm f/2.8 USM Macro Samyang 14mm f/2.8 Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 (non-VC) If you've found this or other videos I've made to be helpful, then support me on Patreon! https://www.patreon.com/christopherfrost?ty=h All pictures and footage taken by me on Canon 6D and 70D cameras Be sure to follow my Photostream on Flickr, to see sample pictures of lenses I've reviewed and to see previews of upcoming lenses, too! https://www.flickr.com/photos/[email protected]/ Music: 'Shades of Spring', Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0 http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/
i Style Selfie Cam Lens
There are almost as many selfies on the internet as there are cat pictures and videos. Are you looking to take a better selfie? If so, here is an inexpensive way to get a wider sefie shot. The i-Style Clip was only $5 dollars at the Five Below store, and for the money it’s actually not too bad. Yes, you can go spend a lot of money on high quality smartphone lenses, but depending on your needs this might be the way to go. If you just wanna enhance your selfies and don’t want to be a photographer, then this device is all you need. It fits on an iPhone, Android, tablets and almost anything. The clip design is nice although it’s plastic. All in all, it’s not bad for 5 bucks. One thing I did notice, in some shots the picture looks rounded and sometimes a bit out of focus around the edges. This could just be how these work or because it’s a 5 dollar kit. If you happen to be looking for a better lens for your smartphone, below I will include some links to products that might fit your needs. The i-Style Lens in this video was not available on our Amazon affiliate ( You can buy the i-Style at 5 below retail store.) So I added some alternative Lenses so you can support the studio. Photography Large Format with dslr
Ever thought about a large format camera for macro studio photography. This guide gives you a way of shooting macro or even Micro photography in a controlled environment. It also shows a guide on what to look out for when choosing a second hand Sinar Camera . The large format camera is a wonderful experience , being able to change the plane of focus is something any still life photographer cannot live without, so tilt shift lens or large format Sinar that is the question.

The BEST Way to "Hand Hold" your camera: Quick Tip
This "Quick Tip" may seem simple to those who have been shooting for a long time. But for those who are just getting into shooting the simple question of the best way to hand hold the camera always arrises. http://froknowsphoto.com/the-best-way-to-hand-hold-your-camera-quick-tip The tip is simple, right hand on the grip, left hand under the lens not over with your elbows tucked. When you tuck your elbows you are giving yourself stability which should lead to sharper images. When it comes to how to shoot vertical there are two ways. Either your camera has a built in vertical release or it doesn't. If it do it's simple simply turn the camera so the shutter button is at the top. If you don't have one in my opinion the best way to shoot is to turn the camera so the shutter button is at the top not the bottom and tuck the elbows. If you follow these simple tips you should have an easier time getting sharper images. Cinema Lenses vs Photo Lenses - Videographer's Guide to Lenses
With the evolution of the Digital Video camera and the emersion of interchangeable lens video cameras, Videographers have been stuck with using lenses designed for still photography, because of the more affordable price point of still lenses. Cinema lenses are a virtually unknown for many shooters. The Market for videocentric lenses has grown in recent years, and affordable Cinema lenses are now available. Because of this, a good understanding of what makes a cinema lens different from a still lens is needed. We’ll be addressing the differences between cinema and still lenses. In this video we look at cinema lenses and see how they are different from traditional photo lenses.
