I’m sharing with you some of my favourite, basic skincare products that just happen to be budget-friendly and super affordable! All of these are high quality despite the low price and everything is under $20. I have something for all skin types! I’m sticking to skincare basics with this video and will most likely do another one with my favourite masks and other actives and special treatments! Some of these items have remained favorites for years, standing the test of time while there are a few newer discoveries too.
I had a few lighting/filming glitches so excuse any inconsistency in quality!

Hi I really like your reviews on this products but you didn’t mention if these products are in US or different parts of world . I happen to live in California and the only product that is familiar is one of the cleanser . I did see you linked some websites but I am more in store than online buyer. Overall your skin looks great and very informative video.
I have dry skin but its also acne prone. I heard the cosrx good morning low ph cleanser can drying for dry skin because it contains BHA. But it is great for unclogging pores and acne prone skin. So do i go for the CeraVe cleanser instead or just go for the cosrx cleanser
Thank you so much. I wish I could meet you in person and you could give me the perfect night and day routine. Lol. I have multiple skin concerns and often times I find myself not knowing what to use to address those needs. Thank you for your videos. I have learned a lot from you.
My skincare is actually running out, and omg I didn’t know I needed this! I’ve never tried the 7 skin method or these products but this girl is about to do an overhaul for her skin! 😂 lol I have dehydrated oily skin FOR sure and I am so excited for these affordable, but effective products. Thank you! I’ve absolutely subbed.
I'm not sure what skin type I have, I've tried to find out myself but I'm not sure. I think I'm normal 🤦🏾♀️ really don't know. *If anyone has any way of telling how to find your skin type please tell me* 😘✨
Hi gothamista, thank you so much for your videos, you are helping a lot of people, myself included :) I have a question regarding The physician formula bright booster oil. It says oil on the bottle so I’m assuming to put it on after my moisturizer? But you said it was an oil serum? I bought it but am confused if I should treat it as a serum and put it on under the moisturizer, or treat as an oil and put on after
just curious, but how old are you? you have absolutely NO fine lines, wrinkles, acne, and you're always glowing! But your experiences seem like you've seen and been through a lot of the stages of life!
i’m 16 years old and i’m starting accutane because of my insanely oily very acne prone skin. are there any gentle, extremely moisturizing skin care products that you’d recommend for that process. i can expect flakey, sensitive skin. thank you!
I used up a whole bottle of the secret key essence but it didn’t do anything at all for me, or at least I didn’t notice any difference when I used it compared to when I didn’t :( I really wanted it to work though so I went through the whole bottle :p alas
Thank you so much for your through reviews of products and skincare knowledge. I love your videos!! I recently purchased the Hadalabo Hyaluronic Foaming cleanser, Pyongkang Yul Essence, Muji Sensitive Skin Moisturizing Milk, and the May Coop Raw Sauce Essence based on a combination of several of your videos. I'm really excited to try out these products and help my dry, dehydrated, acne prone, sensitive skin. I was wondering if you could recommend another budget friendly oil/serum? I purchased the Physicians Formula Organic Wear Bright Booster Oil Elixir and didn't feel like it absorbed very well or that it was hydrating enough for my skin. I also recently purchased iUNIK Propolis Vitamin Synergy Serum and I'm excited to try that out.
Wow I love your channel. Gonna binge watch! I'm pleased with myself. I've found and used a number of these Korean & Japanese products on my own without knowing much about skincare hehe. Now I'll have some great extra advice to lift my game!
I am so late to watching this video, but I am a new viewer so hi! I was just wondering what products (out the these mentioned above or new finds) would you use in your routine. There are so many options that you listed, I am having a hard time choosing which to get. Thank you!!
Thank you gorgeous lady. I am a single parent so this is what I'm looking for..because I usually use natural oils and products ..and diy masks. But I'm always looking for new tips and learning about new products. I've only used one thing from the body shop ever
Hey girl, I just wanted to say that I truly love your channel! It is so so informative and always features the most diverse products while catering for a wide range of needs, like I really appreciate how you also talk about cheaper but yet very good skincare options for us broke people. Personally, as a full-time student with a part-time job, that is just great! Thank you for all your hard work :)
I love the rice oil, and I love the scent. I use the balm, but scent smells chemical to me. Funny how everyone is different. I use cerave cleanser. I do like it. I use the secret key essence. Rose addition. I do like it. I bought a lot of your recommendations as you can tell! 😊
Firstly, I would like to state that I have been introduced to some of my staple products on Gothamista's channel. However, I must mention that the links that were previously provided to purchase some of the products in this and many of Gothamista's videos is YesStyle. I would NOT recommend using YesStyle if you require international shipping. On 3 occasions, my packages did not make it to me due my packages being lost in the mail or not being addressed properly . Based on the fact that all of her videos do not use YesStyle any longer, perhaps Gothamista is aware of the disadvantages of ordering products from YesStyle. DO NOT ORDER FROM YESSTYLE!!!
I need help! I have super super tiny bumps on my forehead going down to the sides of my nose. They aren't pimples, nothing comes out. They're like tiny taste buds, just tiny and a bit rough. I try buying good microdermabrasion creams and exfoliators but nothing works. :( help
Gooosh, I just found this video today and it is amazing!! Thank you for all of the recommandations, I will certanly try some of this products! I trust the brand Benton because of the clear and green ingredients they use and I want to try that moisturizer next summer. And I want the Secret Key essence, now! Ahaha
I haven't actually tried the foaming cerave cleanser although it looks good. I feel like the hydrating one should be enough for oily skin too as long as you make sure you're double cleansing because this will not heavy makeup or water-resistant sunscreen. Depends on what you prefer.
Thank you for this video! I completely love how clearly you explain which product goes when and you explain how to use these products and not just say whether you like them or not! So happy i found your channel!
I am so glad I found your channel! I love how informative and clear you are! Love that you list budget friendly products as well! My skin is in need, I have over all dry skin or maybe it's just dehydrated (I have yet to watch that one video where you state the difference) and you came in at the perfect time. Thank you!
I want to cleanse the skin very well because I am acne prone, but I have dry skin so I love the products that are sensitive on the skin and very nourishing such as Cetaphil. I want to cleanse the skin so that I have nothing left on the skin without disturbing it’s natural oils or stripping the only problem is Cetaphil doesn’t clean very well, what should I use to get rid of all my make up and dirt at the end of the day?
I would love to see a '' teenage skincare haul/favorites from yesstyle'' as that's a shop that i really like, but i don't really know what skincare i should buy ( i'm a mix skin type, oily in the t-zone and a little dry anywhere else)
do you have any affiliation links for UK based sites or sites that operate also from US (such as what you have for the ordinary products), cause this was the best video on budget-friendly skincare all in one, didn't need to watch 10 review vid, but left intrigued enough to watch it all. Feelunique affiliation lick would be great 👌🏾I plan on buying almost all the recommendation 😂
I'm conflicted. I've been told and have read that oils work as blockers, so it's best to use after moisturizer. But you use before. Do you know why folks say that oils are blockers and should be used last? Thank you!
