I’m sharing with you some of my favourite, basic skincare products that just happen to be budget-friendly and super affordable! All of these are high quality despite the low price and everything is under $20. I have something for all skin types! I’m sticking to skincare basics with this video and will most likely do another one with my favourite masks and other actives and special treatments! Some of these items have remained favorites for years, standing the test of time while there are a few newer discoveries too.
I had a few lighting/filming glitches so excuse any inconsistency in quality!

Hi, where can I find the 100% Pure coffee bean eye cream for $15, I am only finding it for $30. Also, I am confused if for each category of product/step of skin care routine are you using multiple products? specifically, are you using multiple hydrating toners each day, multiple first essences, multiple oils, multiple serums? or is it just one product per catergory each day? Thank you!!
Is not about the budget is the chemicals in the product that I avoid. And alimal testing cruelty. I like everything natural made by me or chosen products that are
ethically made and natural and not tested on animals.
I recently discovered your channel and I am OBSESSED!! You are so sincere, informative and helpful. Especially love that u have a variety of budget friendly options because ALL women deserve good skin!!
Donkey milk is rich in vitamin E, amino acids, vitamins A, B1, B6, C, D, E, Omega 3 and 6. It is usually produced in small batches by small farmers. This both hurts those farmers and the quality of the skincare, not to mention that if the donkeys aren't kept for milk, they will be used for heavy labour, or sold and/or put to death. What was the point of taking it out, to potentially increase sales on ideological grounds?
Can you do a skin care routine/tutorial using products from this video? I am very knew to the skin care game and with all of these products it's a tad overwhelming. When do I do what? How should I apply it?
great video. really appreciate the affordable product reviews. I have a few questions though. 1. are cleansing oils only meant for makeup removal? like if I don't wear makeup that day, do I still use a cleansing oil? 2.) what's the verdict on off brand products? for example, I use the Equate (Walmart) version of the cerave hydrating cleanser. to me the ingredients are the same and it works fine and hasn't caused any bad reactions but to a skincare expert, are there any reason(s) to use the official brand over the off brand?
I totally understand the range difference between prices of products bought on different places. I used to buy a cleanser for 7 euros and found out I could have been buying the same product for 3 euros.
Edit: also, I really love how knowledgeable you are, and maybe you or someone in the comments can help me with this! At my country they don't really sell oil cleansers, do you personally feel a foam or milk cleanser is enough for cleaning my skin? I don't use make up, but I live in the city and use SPF. Before I found about oil cleansers I bought this gel cleanser that I'm still using, which also gives me some doubts, because it's allegedly a cleanser and a toner that doesn't need to be rinsed out. But when I use it it foams on my skin and leaves it sticky. Have I been scammed? 😂
You are very knowledgeable! I'm so thankful for you! You know what you're talking about, you can tell you are passionate about what you do! The first video I watched of yours was about the Ordinary, and I was looking for an answer to my question, and how ironic, you answered it 3 mins into the video! Thank you! You gained a subscriber! 💙
Wash with coconut oil every night to remove Makeup, then a gentle water based cleanser (ceravue is good) then a toner (I made your DIY one with aloe Vera juice) , then a chemical or physical exfoliant (vasanti is good for physical) and then a rich cream followed by oil (mine is pure vitamin e) then bed
I’ve bought some of these products and I’m just wondering when do I start to see improvements in my skin?? Anyone with personal experiences please reply to help a shister out (btw I got sensitive, combo skin and recently started breaking out ):
I know this is about a year late, but thank you so much for recommending the Bright Booster Oil Elixir! It has been an absolute lifesaver for my sensitive skin in the very dry winter climate I now live in. I add a drop to my moisturizer morning and night, and now my face stays hydrated and resists the cold dry air much better. So thank you again. I am so glad I found this channel!
Hi I really like your reviews on this products but you didn’t mention if these products are in US or different parts of world . I happen to live in California and the only product that is familiar is one of the cleanser . I did see you linked some websites but I am more in store than online buyer. Overall your skin looks great and very informative video.
I have dry skin but its also acne prone. I heard the cosrx good morning low ph cleanser can drying for dry skin because it contains BHA. But it is great for unclogging pores and acne prone skin. So do i go for the CeraVe cleanser instead or just go for the cosrx cleanser
Thank you so much. I wish I could meet you in person and you could give me the perfect night and day routine. Lol. I have multiple skin concerns and often times I find myself not knowing what to use to address those needs. Thank you for your videos. I have learned a lot from you.
My skincare is actually running out, and omg I didn’t know I needed this! I’ve never tried the 7 skin method or these products but this girl is about to do an overhaul for her skin! 😂 lol I have dehydrated oily skin FOR sure and I am so excited for these affordable, but effective products. Thank you! I’ve absolutely subbed.
I'm not sure what skin type I have, I've tried to find out myself but I'm not sure. I think I'm normal 🤦🏾♀️ really don't know. *If anyone has any way of telling how to find your skin type please tell me* 😘✨
Hi gothamista, thank you so much for your videos, you are helping a lot of people, myself included :) I have a question regarding The physician formula bright booster oil. It says oil on the bottle so I’m assuming to put it on after my moisturizer? But you said it was an oil serum? I bought it but am confused if I should treat it as a serum and put it on under the moisturizer, or treat as an oil and put on after
just curious, but how old are you? you have absolutely NO fine lines, wrinkles, acne, and you're always glowing! But your experiences seem like you've seen and been through a lot of the stages of life!
i’m 16 years old and i’m starting accutane because of my insanely oily very acne prone skin. are there any gentle, extremely moisturizing skin care products that you’d recommend for that process. i can expect flakey, sensitive skin. thank you!
I used up a whole bottle of the secret key essence but it didn’t do anything at all for me, or at least I didn’t notice any difference when I used it compared to when I didn’t :( I really wanted it to work though so I went through the whole bottle :p alas
Thank you so much for your through reviews of products and skincare knowledge. I love your videos!! I recently purchased the Hadalabo Hyaluronic Foaming cleanser, Pyongkang Yul Essence, Muji Sensitive Skin Moisturizing Milk, and the May Coop Raw Sauce Essence based on a combination of several of your videos. I'm really excited to try out these products and help my dry, dehydrated, acne prone, sensitive skin. I was wondering if you could recommend another budget friendly oil/serum? I purchased the Physicians Formula Organic Wear Bright Booster Oil Elixir and didn't feel like it absorbed very well or that it was hydrating enough for my skin. I also recently purchased iUNIK Propolis Vitamin Synergy Serum and I'm excited to try that out.
Wow I love your channel. Gonna binge watch! I'm pleased with myself. I've found and used a number of these Korean & Japanese products on my own without knowing much about skincare hehe. Now I'll have some great extra advice to lift my game!
I am so late to watching this video, but I am a new viewer so hi! I was just wondering what products (out the these mentioned above or new finds) would you use in your routine. There are so many options that you listed, I am having a hard time choosing which to get. Thank you!!
Thank you gorgeous lady. I am a single parent so this is what I'm looking for..because I usually use natural oils and products ..and diy masks. But I'm always looking for new tips and learning about new products. I've only used one thing from the body shop ever
Hey girl, I just wanted to say that I truly love your channel! It is so so informative and always features the most diverse products while catering for a wide range of needs, like I really appreciate how you also talk about cheaper but yet very good skincare options for us broke people. Personally, as a full-time student with a part-time job, that is just great! Thank you for all your hard work :)
