In the third round of the 2018 TOUR Championship, Tiger Woods came out birding six of his front nine holes to help him take the solo lead by three shots heading into Sunday.
The TOUR Championship, the final of the four events in the FedExCup Playoffs, is contested at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, GA. In 2017, Justin Thomas capped off an incredible season, one that included five victories -- including his first major at the PGA Championship -- and a career-best 59 at the Sony Open in Hawaii, with the FedExCup. He finished second at East Lake and outlasted his pal Jordan Spieth for the top prize.

there's a difference when you talk about 80 in their 79 when you're when you turn the page on another decade of wins just just the next decade that 80 sounds so much bigger and he's a pretty damn big number that's a hell of a comeback
This is the round he won the Tour Championship. When everyone else is faltering, Tiger birdied. He was able to play par golf on the last round, unless someone shot lights out, he could pretty much play defensive golf coming home.
he did it he did it he did it he did it he did it he did it he did keep on going keep on going and I'm glad Justin Rose won I love you tiger I remember 1997 God I remember 1997 you ain't worried about 10 Millions it's like a flip over all the people in 1997 came back look at all those beautiful people and babies they love you and I do too and I always will❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤💣💣💣💣💣💥💥💥💥💥
Greg Norman was not qualified to make the statement about Tiger....bet Tiger never read it ...but I bet it drives him....
Go Big Cat
And the thumbs down....well they must be confused tidily wink players...on 30 handicap
To be honest, Tiger and Justin Rose has been the two most consistent players all year. There have been golfers who were hot in spots but never maintained their momentum throughout year like those two if they finish 1 and 2 today. Tiger did not win but was always hanging the top of the leaderboards.
Ok folks calm down, it ain't over til it's over. So impressed with Tiger, all that he's been through, OK some self induced but he's coming trough it like a champ. Got all my fingers crossed for you good sir
Just before the Ryder cup, I'd love to see Rory Chase him down the stretch and show the world that woods is still beatable.... alas I can see tiger tearing the field to shreds. For a guy in his 40's with more plates in his body than Robocop he looks ripped and his golf in this tournament has been awesome!
It looks like Tiger has eased up with his swing speed, normally he would hit it past a guy like Justin Rose. It looks like he has accepted that he is long enough and that it's better to be in the fairway in order to win championships.
Would be interesting to hear from the Naysayers! Win or not! Like him or not! C'mon uh gotta be impressed with what he has done! Restore my faith in mankind! Just one of you step up and show the 'brother' some props! Waiting!
Dammit Tiger my doctor says I dont get enough sleep and now I have had to stay up 3 nights in a row to watch you......you did this to me in the 2000s Tiger. Tiger I need my sleep I live 7 hours ahead of Eastern Standard time I cannot stay up till 1:00 am in the morning ....You're killing me Tiger you're killing me
All the naysayers who said Tiger would never compete again....they can eat crow. We like G.O.A.T. This would be a crowning achievement to his year, going from just starting to play again to beating the other top 29 in the world? Win or lose, he's showing us that he has a game, and don't count him down and out yet!
this guys pretty good! his swing looks more in control, like he's swinging between 80 and 90%., which should help his back, instead of 110%. he seems focused, in shape, and the flat stick is working. he looks like he's on a mission.
If he wins tomorrow, definitely firing up the PS2, pulling out Tiger Woods 2002 through 2005 and playing a round on each, just for that true nostalgia. Tiger's back, that red shirt is hitting the course, the one that all of us tiger woods gamers feared when we neared that final match against Sunday Tiger, good god does this just bring me back.
PS I'm not up on golf as much as I was is he getting picked for Ryder cup .coz Europe is already in trouble he having a point to prove would end it before it even start.im European but Johnson speith Fowler Keopka they have the advantage I feel .
Golf should really thank tiger and that game I stopped playing over past few years . golf takes effort and dedication
But that game got ally freinds into golf and many more and he raised the prize money for all the other golfers with the interest he brought .and it's because of the way he played . plays his mentally .I remember tournaments were he didn't hit fairways and won
And Nike was the god of victory he's the perfect mascot for them he wasn't just rich from sponsors but the sheer amount of prize money .and when he went on his decline it took a long time for him to be knocked off number one
I thank him for all the shots I played and loved chipping and putting the most .because of him and Phil to .
