Nice Video!

Yeah I don’t think it wise for Americans to travel alone in the back places of certain countries.

Amazing video, thank you for such an intimate view of Jordan. I booked my flight over two months ago and I don't leave for another two months. I want the best experience possible of this wonderful country and your video has given me a greater insight of how to achieve it. I'm now even more excited with anticipation and will take many of your travel suggestions to heart.

Great vid, but how is it that one minute you talk about animal abuse and how not to take advantage of the animals there, and the next you are riding a camel yourself?
Charles Huang (5 months ago)
I am not against using animal are form of transportation or to make a living, however they must be treated well.
FRANCA COLOZZO (5 months ago)
Jordan is unique, in particular Petra, a crystallized dream in the petrified desert. Wadi and wadi under the stars..

I know this video is from 2016 but: Finally someone that has the conscience to look at the animals and think they should not serve as transportation! Thank you! I never ride on anything being pull by animals. I have two legs, if I cannot use them I get a car, if i can't pay for a car I simply don't go where I wanna go.. Its one thing to have a horse or a donkey and use just yourself, give it shelter and love, another is being lazy and use an animal dozens of times per day in god knows what conditions. So thank you for mentioning that and for mentioning the local people and show them to us. Thank you!
Azzam Jaber (26 days ago)
Animals were used for transportation for millions of years. FYI there is a vet in Petra to look after animals there.
Charles Huang (7 months ago)
You are welcome! I advocate the same treatment of animal in almost every episode!
Ikhmal Santibanez (7 months ago)

The only thing I miss from your videos is how it would be like, or is, for a female solo traveller in these Muslim countries. Other than that, your vids are amazingly informative :)
Azzam Jaber (26 days ago)
There was a solo Canadian traveller on this video.. sure you can do it with some commonsense as you do.

Great video. Where can u get the Jordon pass, 2day pass for Petra. If your based in Amman can u do day trips to other sites and cities . If your a single traveller would you recommend doing organised trips or doing it on your own . Do the hotels organise trips.

One of the most interesting and insightful films on Travel ever seen on YouTube. Enoyed it so very much. The pace is great and the views of the areas are done really well. most People go so fast you cannot assimalate all that is in the area. Knowing we all have different interests it's difficult to pleease everyone, but this is diffentaly worth the time to watch! Wonderful Job!

Your videos are great, but your grey, scrolling, wheel of fortune-esque subtitles that display your location has to go. How long do we have to watch the letters scroll before all the letters spell the location? This is taking time away from watching your actual video content.
Charles Huang (1 year ago)
Thank you for your suggestions and definitely will try to improve on our future episodes :)

Hi, nice video. Going to Jordan this Xmas. What would you recommend to do to take the best of the Wadi Rum? Also, what would you recommend to do/visit near the Dead Sea? I'm also a passionate travel videographer and like your editing / storytelling
Charles Huang (1 year ago)
Jordan is not a big country and you can go north all the way to the south in a day. For the South, there is not much do to except Wadi Rum and Petra. However, I do recommend you go snorkeling in the Red Sea. For the Dead Sea, there is many free beaches you can experience the flowing feeling.

Make sure not to buy the "fake Chinese products" when traveling??? How about the poor Chinese workers who are ALSO trying to make a living working their asses off? Are they less human to you than these Bedouins??? When you buy the Chinese products, you are supporting the poor Chinese people AND the poor Bedouins. What on earth do you have against the poor people in China???
Charles Huang (1 year ago)
I am Chinese and have nothing against my own people... I am proud to be Chinese. However, I do not support importing faked cultural goods, its better off people buying the real stuff made by the locals, sold by the locals. With that being said... thank you for your comment and opinions.

Jordan is safe, very freindly and hospitable. You were very smart to choose Jordan. Your choice is not only smart but strategic. Jordanians are hospitable and generous, perfect for those on a budget. Jordan offers both historical and religious significance for those in search of either. I'm a huge fan of Jordan, great choice of destination.

@DIY Travel Show your'e a man with words bro... bless you
Charles Huang (2 years ago)
Because the issue is so complex that is why you won't right away say Palestine is made up... it existed, I am sure you'll be offended if I said historical land of Israel is fiction. Think about that be open to all prospectives. This is one of the goals of our show... thank you!
Naz Khan (2 years ago)
I choose not to judge a book by its cover, seems like you have done so all ready
1995yuda (2 years ago)
@Naz Khan I really don't have anything nice to say to you, so I'd rather we do not talk further.
1995yuda (2 years ago)
@DIY Travel Show You may have good intentions but you shouldn't voice your opinion if you don't have one that's informed, especially on such a complex subject. Only extremists on the left spectrum are siding with the made-up piece of land called Palestine. The whole world stands with Israel, and soon Trump will lead America into a stronger than ever bond and allience with Israel. The U.N. has now become a laughing matter. The joke is over, and it is long due.
Global Adventurer (3 years ago)
The main reason your travel videos are so great is the fact you show the REAL side of how it is to travel alone on a budget, meeting regular local folks and being non-pretentious with little editing. Very realistic. Thank you for providing all the behind the scenes and off the beaten track tips and information. The information, especially regarding the transportation will certainly help me out next year when I visit Jordan and surrounding countries.
