Nobony tells that if you want to edit the clip multiple times back and forth, every time the Audition will create a new .wav file by re-compressing it, and leaving all this junk on your disk !!!

Awesome! Thank you. This will speed up my workflow quite a bit. I’ve been exporting my audio to Logic Pro and creating 480p proofs to mixdown to. It’s been an arduous and time consuming process.

newbie to audition and mixing audio. Let's say I mixed the audio in the audition and exported it to premiere but now I have to make new changes in premiere such as add another clip. Is there a way to dynamically link the new changes to the existing mix so that it has same track effects as the existing mixed audio? Or I just need to manually edit the clip to existing track effects?

What if you think you have reached a final cut so you go to do your sound mix and apply lots of transitions, effects, and filters, but the client comes back with one change to the sequence. Is there a way to go back to Audition with all of your original audio fixes, but now includes your changes in Premiere? I find with the workflow of exporting the entire mixdown, I'm having to constantly go back into Audition and re-mix everything all over again after a change is made in Premiere.

Dan Bernard Media I see. Thanks for the reply! Hopefully they add a feature soon where it gets updated easily.

You could do a new dynamic link with your added audio file , but either way , you'd need to adjust any new sounds and effects you've added, it may be in your best interest to just start a new project and do a new mix with all your sounds included.

Please help. When I trying to sent to audition I can not check OPEN IN audition box, Still inactive. Can you help?
Dan Bernard Media (2 years ago)
Daniel Kalinovskiy make sure that your timeline window is selected before you try to send to Audition. Also, make sure all your apps are updated! Hope this helps.

This was great, do you have to go into each audio clip to add effects and such, or is there a way to batch add effects within the timeline?
Dan Bernard Media (2 years ago)
No problem! Thanks for the comment and the view!

Appreciate it, thanks!

Good question, you can add effects to tracks in multi track mode, and that effect will affect all the clips in that track. Then when you export your audio just make sure you select multi track mixdown and make sure your output track is set to the master.
