Subnautica is an open world, underwater exploration and adventure game. You have landed on alien ocean world, and the only way to go is down. Subnautica's oceans range from sun drenched shallow coral reefs to treacherous deep-sea crevasses, lava fields, and bio-luminescent underwater rivers. Manage your oxygen supply as you explore kelp forests, plateaus, reefs, and winding cave systems. The water teems with life: Some of it helpful, much of it not so much.

I have a idea make a prawn suit training base it needs
1. A training area used with platforms
2. Multiple moonbases for each prawn suit
3. Break room for teachers and one for trainees
4. Rooms for each trainee and teacher minimum is three for each
5. Reception desk so people can sign up and a waiting room
6. A area for different biomes
7. Fighting area so a area full of aggressive creatures depending on rank of the trainee it depends on what their fighting
8. add some special detail of your own to add some jazz
And anyone who has subnautica is aloud to make it
Back for the IGParadise 2.0 server, I have an idea. Even though you probably won't read this, I will still put it in.
Title: Ancient Leviathan Resarch Facility. Location: Lost River (Giant fossil) Story: When the player escaped from 4546B, he tells the rest of Alterra about the fossils in the Lost River. They then returned to the planet and built a large reseach facility to try and learn everything about the massive extinct creatures.
Make some sort of kingdom with a keep (royals’ / landloard’s home) and some cottages skate red infront (could use 1 or 2 multi purpose rooms) and place it against some sort of mountain side with an observation room from the keep looking down at the cottages. It would not need a wall but would have 2 or 3 barracks. The keep would have a kitchen, an office for the landlord, bedrooms for staff, a bedroom for the landlord, a main hall, and any other miscellaneous needs you can add. There would possibly be a mess hall for the villagers. You could put this anywhere. Maybe add a garage beneath or behind. I’m doubting your going to do this. There would be some farm and flood lights are all around the village
i was told to post my base idea and lore to you and you'll try to build it welp thats what your first vid said idk well here you go
Sam: have you made it to planet Aurora
Player: yes we're just entering the lazer field now ^#;÷-(;×
Sam: &! [email protected] debr:!+ field should have passed and your connected to the planets solar communications array
Player: good… i cat believe the renamed the planet after it became part of the alterran hierarchy AND they let me decide
Sam: well that's what happens when you lr the soul survivor of the eight crashed terraforming ships
Player: i guess so… where's this research base i need to go to?
Sam: the jelly shroom caves, you seriously don't remember what happened here?
Player: no after the emperor died it killed part of my mind so alterra had to wipe my memory of most of my life on this planet
Sam: well you were working on a cure for the miner virus pardoguleyou discovered that crabsquids & crabsnakes developed immunity to the disease after catching the karrar so you quarantine infected creature eggs in a facility where you studied the biology of the jelly shroom caves.
Player: THanks for…. Recapping me so i've got to go down there and get my research?
Sam: Yes, Alterra want you to bring it back so they can help you to develop a cure so they can start draining the ocean to build cities.
Player: Wait it's been 20 years the base must be in a state of disarray!
Sam: Yes your going to need to repair it oh and it says here you told the council about your work and if you were to ever go back that you would need more time ALONE to complete it.
Player: ok So Give me an overall description of the base.
Sam: It spanned across the length of the caves connected to a small solar array at the top of an entrance shaft the rest of the power is generated form bioreactors running of home grown “mini Jelly shrooms” you did find some leviathan class eggs but after an avalanche the room was buried in a cave (Because theres isnt terraforming anymore) you have a tower in the center of the facility with a large creature observation tank through all three floors and finally there's a moon pool where you kept your seamoth “the black knight” (Fully Black with white name) its probable as deteriorated and broken down as the base, well Alex there's going to be a lot of work to do good luck.
I would like you to build this base in a Half destroyed and broken down state -Thanks Ryan
I had this idea for a maze base. Something that would be there solely for the character's enjoyment as he would go crazy alone on a planet with nothing to do. It should be in the mushroom forest since it is already like a maze and should go towards the lifepod because you are trying to escape the maze to get back to safety. Subnautica in a nutshell basically. Start at the tree and create one of those spirals at the beginning of a maze. The ones where you start in the middle and go around. Then build a ladder going down. Next make a field of those grid x and t corridor pieces you have on top of your cage thing. Put the ladder going down in any one of the x or t corridors, it really doesn't matter which one. Now make a path of corridors adjusted around and in between the tree's. This part I can't say exactly how to make as I don't know The exact positions of The trees. The maze should end when you get to the very end of the mushroom forest.
I have an idea. I'm not sure if it's actually possible, but I wanna see if it can be given a go:
On Planet 4546B, you may notice that the precursors had no apparent launch pad or anything with which to actually leave the area, yet here we see a quarantine enforcement platform to prevent ships from entering or leaving the location. I had a thought that a launch pad might be able to be created as a part of the map.
-On the top of the island containing the QEP, build a large launch platform stretching as high into the sky as possible with supportive beams to make it look authentically stable. If possible, I request that a Neptune Launch Platform be constructed at the top, with the Gantry constructed but not the actual rocket. On a side or in the corner of the platform could be several multipurpose rooms that serve as headquarters to launch rockets that land or are built there. This way in a survival game the rocket will still need to be built, but the location may already be predesginated. Alternatively, as the platform will reveal the location, the Neptune launch platform could be excluded and just include that as a provided location to build one.
A huge Nuclear reactor, (details)-To be built with a Four multi-purpose room interlocking system *basically four mullti purpose rooms linked together) and then should rise up to 5-10 floors (such a wide gap between amount to make sure most pcs can handle it, i don't know what normal computers can handle) all with reinforced walls to "keep radiation from destroying the base" and all will be filled with a nuclear reactor and most should have a storage container for stock pilling Reactor rods, and the rooms should have nuclear waste disposal units for ridding of drained reactor rods, and should include external flood lights, the nuclear power plant is also connected to a moon pool, Any thing leading into the nuclear plant is to be given an airlock (2 bulk heads that close off an area for complete safety) to keep the nuclear plants as safe as possible, this power plant should however only be a primary source of power for the base (or secondary what ever you wish) this power plant will also be connected to a small "panic room" that stores a few items in particular a fabricator bed and med kit fabricator, this room was built so that if the base floods the survivor could stay safe while they prepare to repair the damage (Also protected by an airlock) the room will be all reinforced walls and have one emergency escape airlock system (You cant just go from air to water millions of miles under subnautica). (LORE involvement) The only survivor of the aurora ship crash has already seen the precursor generator bases, through this they thought off using nuclear energy, due to the fact that it is more efficient and powerful in the creation of energy, from this they made a simple system of nuclear generators so they can power the HUGE base that they plan to build, because they realized the danger of floods they created safety measures so that they wont have to worry about flooding too much,
Thanks, i understand if this is too pc intensive, but i thought this would be a good and creative idea.
I have good idea for the game developers. Make it so the cyclops can board at a base! (Have a whole new base part added or just let it attach to a vertical conector). Someone pls make sure that the developers see this idea, because I don’t know how.
Hey IGP! You should make a base that covers almost the entire Aurora with things to analyze the crash and defense systems to fend off the reaper leviathans! Maybe even some living quarters, power rooms, moon pools etc.!
Well, come to think of it, I don't think that the Emperor Leviathan is actually a full time aggressive predator. I actually have a very long explanation on this topic along with some other speculations on the whole subnautica world, so bare with me.
We know for a fact that 4546B has been home to creatures much more gigantic is scale as compared to current leviathans. This means that in the natural food chain, the leviathans we see were not actually leviathans. [Leviathan is an apex predator who is at the top of their food chain]. This point is easily cleared by observing skeletons of Titan Leviathan (Lost river landmark), Big Biter (Lost river : Inside Precursor research and containment facility), Giant Reaper (Lost river : Skull near the Alien cache). This is what I think is the history of 4546B. Creatures the size of Titan leviathans existed along with species of all sizes all the way down till peepers we all love and eat. This was probably ten to hundred thousands of years before the extinction period. The oceans were likely more deeper in this course of time. As the extinction period came, biggest of the creatures died out due to their massive sizes not being able to sustain them selves and starved as the smaller ones evolved. Somewhere near the end of it the Carar bacterium hit the planet. Whether it was due to, before or after the arrival of precursors is unknown. The planet started to die out while some species developed immunity and the effect of the virus was like a plague for the planet. Most parts of the planet died out and the ones home to the Emperor or other enzyme 42 producing species lived while suffering loss of some of it's top half of the food chain. The planet still continued to survive with biodiversity but segmented away from each other, only in the places where enzyme 42 was available. It is unknown if the precursors came looking for the cure or just exploring where they caused the outbreak from a foreign sample. It is also possible that they excavated samples which may have contained Carar from 4546B itself. The origin or Carar bacterium is unknown.
Another point I wanna make about the Emperor is that it is probably a lesser carnivore or herbivore. In comparison to reaper and dragon leviathans, emperor has not a very big mouth with sets of scary sharp teeth. Possibly indicating Emperor was like a sea version of the Diplodocus (long necked herbivore dinosaur)
The planet 4546B is seen almost completely covered in water. At the same time, the planet has pretty decent vegetation on it's islands which is too advanced for it to qualify as a completely marine planet. Now, the shallows we encounter cover a pretty big area, but it is insignificant in comparison to the planet itself. And we have no idea of how big 4546B is, and what depth it has beyond the shallows. It is probably bigger than earth, since smaller planets are generally have thinner atmosphere and their surface is solid, where as bigger planets are gas giants and possibly there exists a marine planets class between the 2 extremes. We know that it was over a thousand years between the precursors leaving the planet and Degasi crew crashing there. During this while is probably when the vegetation on the islands evolved to it's current state where it is not rich, but neither is it barren or scarce. It is just enough complex state for us to be able to use it.
We also know that precursors existed as a much more highly advanced civilization with an understanding of other planetary systems and was in it's "exploration phase" which was probably a pre colonization step by their race. It seems that the precursor race was more unified and less emotional than the human race. They were focused on research and discovery and had almost no concern or regard for other lifeforms apart from observing them.
Thank you for reading through. Let me know of more stuff you think can fit this version of subnautica's lore or what I missed or got wrong. Have a nice day :D
The mushroom factory-
In the mushroom forest, the precursors discovered a new type of flora that they have never witnessed on their home planet before, underwater mushrooms. They have become fascinated by these mushrooms and have dedicated a group of scientists to discover the origins of these mushrooms and how they can use it to attract creatures, specifically Warpers. While the experiment lead to few success the did discover that many different other type of natural life can digest these mushrooms. In the end m, instead of shutting down the factory, they converted it to a human equivalent of an aquarium.
Building ideas ————
A large abandoned building that resembles a factory with many doors and observatories, but also docking areas for machines (you can use sea moth docking or ship docking areas, or just create something unique that looks like a docking are) all powered by solar/nuclear power (whichever is more convenient). The building will be large and will also contain small cages (like the one in this video but much smaller) that the precursor hoped to catch Warpers in. It will be full of lockers with medical, scientist, mechanical supplies....then a crap ton of mushrooms! Then observatories around the cages and mushroom forest area with “green house” areas full of mushrooms. Then attached to a pipe, will be a new area full of aquariums with no fish in them(cause the fish probably died when the precursors left)
imagine how good it awesome be if the developers madde a subnautica movie sort of how IGP did with the graphic settings a couple months back or they could make a live action one either way i think it would be really cool and interesting to see the world of subnautica in a third person perspective and as a action/survival movie
The Aurora is a second generation, so the player is on the Aurora II. The Degasi team's was Aurora I. The Precursors were recently extinct 2 years ago and built a huge tower and entire base out of newfound Degasi building patterns with two purposes: to test the integrity strength of the base and also to learn more about the original Aurora I. The base failed, however, due to Leviathan attacks on the bottom sector and the entire Precursor Aurora I research team died because they were pinned inside the base. They used Nuclear power because they never found out how to make solar panels, so it is unpowered.
Additional Notes: Built to a great height above the aurora and there are moonpools with vehicles inside. (you can spawn them in) to test the remaining integrity by dropping things on it (lol) also, they've built inside the Aurora I because they have the tech to make stuff ghostlike, so you can build inside the Aurora where it isn't solid. Thanks!

A pyrimad lost to the (Any biome) with tons of science and technology and cafeteria also a living quarters etc. They have to be stocked up on food and power there will be at the top a line of vertical connectors and add on if you want to tell him in discord feel free to use this idea and add a few more things;)!
I would like to show you my base that I built inside the lava castle, but I did that on Xbox and I can't share it to you on Xbox so it really sucks watching you post other people's bases and I don't even have a CHANCE because I can't even post it or whatever. And don't do any of that yo moma on my dick
