Welcome to Sea of Thieves Beta! What is " Sea of Thieves "?
Sea of Thieves is a pirate-themed action-adventure cooperative multiplayer game played from a first-person perspective. The game features cross-platform play between Windows-based personal computers and Xbox One video game consoles. A group of players travel and explore an open world via a pirate ship and assume different roles such as steering, hoisting sails, navigation, firing cannons and other tasks. Players will embark on quests, collect loot and engage in combat with other players. Sea of Thieves is a shared world game, which means groups of players will encounter each other regularly throughout their adventures. The game has a cartoonish art style and exaggerated physics that allow players to be shot out of ship cannons.

you just locked a random player in the brig? no don't do that if anyone does that they deserve to be banned kicked or something but do not ever do that. if you find anyone doing this to anyone please report them do something don't let these ******* ruin this game
Sam Streatfield yes there is voip or else it would be impossible to play this game i'm sorry but yes there is voip in game chat with people where you can talk to them. also no go with random people that's how you meet people also its better as you won't know what will happen.
and what reason would they not want this person helping them? none only reason is if they are trolling or doing some form of trouble and then they can lock them in the brig otherwise wait until the full game is released and I'm sure there will be some way of making it private.
Cy Lebeau its in closed beta for the rest of the week which you had to sign up for or preorder but there is an open beta coming up so look out for that. Im telling you its so much fun. Even solo because they give you a nice tiny boat thats easy to use for one person
Not really lol. When his buddy on the wheel was saying turn the sails to catch wind he was correct. He was completely ignored on several occasions. Even if the wind is against the ship but slightly at a angle you can still catch some wind. Granted not much but it would still catch some. Listen to your friend @PartiallyRoyal. It seems he understands the game better than you do. It was funny watching this as much as painful. Good video though lol... just a tip, listen to your friend hahaaa. A galleon does not stand a chance if everyone on the ship is not listening to who is on the wheel and also telling him whats in front of you since he can barely see anything in front of the ship unless the sails are over to one direction or the other. Just listen more and work as a team... or get on a Sloop.
demo should get down fix the sail. its small animation to set sail, and get down see any rock. then back steer the ship. 3 crew member too short. i like wind mechanic, it feels realistic ship. game still in CBT hmm..
You can choose any length of the sail, if you want it 30%,72% full, it doesnt matter you have full control. Also you can have 4 crew members but they put one in the brig( jail). You cant back steer a boat like this because it its a sail boat. Also its more fun this way.
wait you are serious uh Rare is owned by Microsoft so no. If you have a win 10 PC you can play it as well. It will also be available on Xbox game pass so if you have a friend who has an Xbox and game pass you try it out with that when it launches in March
