LITTLE ROCK, AR -- A legally blind man is speaking out after saying he was injured when a Little Rock police officer slammed him to the ground.
It happened just before 4 p.m. on June 1. Eric Wilson had just left work and was walking home along 65th Street. Around that time, police say they got a call about someone fitting Wilson's description running away from or chasing someone and who appeared to be afraid.
Wilson is legally blind and says he only sees shadows. He says he didn't know who was calling him.
Wilson says the officers told him to put his hands behind his back before taking him to the ground.
"I was trying to figure out what was going on and before I knew it, I was slammed to the ground," Wilson said.
In a police report an officer said Wilson pulled away violently, causing him to lose grip and that he was afraid Wilson would hit him or his partner with the handcuff.
Wilson and his lawyer Reggie Koch, say that's not what the video shows.
That night, Wilson says he went to the hospital with back pain and was diagnosed with a lower back strain.
lying pieces of pig shit cop roaches will say and do anything to abuse people, and those cop roach thugs need to be fired and brought up on criminal charges, as well as face a federal civil rights lawsuit.
*This is completely indefensible. The man is blind, gets treated like crap, and the cops lie about the circumstance. What a crock of shit. I honestly would not feel sorry at all if a thug puts a couple of bullets into the heads of THESE TWO SPECIFIC, EVIL COPS.*
These people who work as cops are so comfortable and habituated to lying that they do it automatically. Falsified reports, assualt on the disabled. What's next bank robbery? Go to prison and stay there.
ALL cops are pirates and tyrants!>>>>> Do not let them intimidate you! And ALL cops targets black people<<<< If cops ever stop you for no reason, >>>> DO NOT open your mouth! keep quiet!!! That is your rights!!.......... ALL cops tries to give you some kind of bull shit lie why they pulled you over!! you can't NOT believe any of them!! and >>>>always ask for there supervisor ALWAYS<<<
Why the fuck are Americans taking this shit, millions died for your rights and if you don't stand up for your rights than you don't deserve to have them...every American needs to get involved against racial profiling and police abuse...
Those mother fucking blind black men are the worst type of criminal on the streets us cops have got to deal with, just don't know what the fuck they gonna do to ya!
They is spooky with those eyes twitching all over the place you just gotta take em down and cuff em.
YOU F*CKING RETARDS, HE WASN'T SLAMMED TO THE GROUND! JUST ANOTHER @SSHOLE TRYING TO GET FREE MONEY FROM THE HARD-WORKING TAXPAYERS! THE COPS NEED TO JUST ARRANGE AN "ACCIDENT" FOR HIM IN THE FUTURE, AS A WAY TO THANK HIM FOR LYING.
Ask cuz the cops that got enough common sense to take a look at somebody and see where it's something's wrong with them they can't see I can't walk at wherever they don't even take time to do that they're all the same get a cop your a criminal
The best I can tell is that Eric Wilson sued the officers and the city. There was a joint stipulation for dismissal on July 5, 2018 which I think means that they settled out of court. Since I'm not a lawyer, I could be way off. I can only find a summary of events with the legal documents behind a paywall..
Did he announce he was legally blind even tho I’m sure that wouldn’t have matter to the cops. How ca he see good enough to get home if that’s all can see. Not blaming I’m just wondering because I have a friend I was gonna have her daughter watch this she’s legally blind.hers is like a dark shadow at its best and she don’t using her Cain so people are judging really fast.
